AW: Warum mir Portugal nicht gefällt
Hallo
Daunten was ein Belgien mir gesagt hatte:
Hi P,
.
Paying more social taxes than you earn is a situation I encountered 10 years ago in Belgium already, and that’s one of the reasons why I left the country. One year I was effectively taxed at 150% of my income. I took it to the court and asked the judge where I was supposed to go steal the other 50% in order to pay taxes that are more than my income. He gave no answer and didn’t have the integrity to judge against the harebrained laws of the country. So I voted with my feet.
That’s also why I have never been optimistic about the European Union. I suspected that the same debts, high taxes and stupid overregulations were going to be enforced on other EU countries, and today we can see the results in places like Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain… If they do not stop this failed Euro experiment, Europe will be at war again within 10 years.
You can vote with your feet just like I did.
If I were single and Portuguese, then the first options I would check out would be Brasil and Cabo Verde. Next you could look into Australia, New Zealand,Thailand, Canada, Iceland, Russia, Mongolia, the rest of South America…
